Hey, kids. How you been? Summer is almost over, but the Lorenz family (along with my parents, Kelly's dad, and our good friend, Nancy) sure did have some fun. Last month we traveled to the Finger Lakes in upstate NY for a week of good local wine, swimmin', and nightly bonfires by the lake. Life is rough. Here are a few videos from that week I have been meaning to post for quite some time.
First, we have Brooklyn and bubbles!
One day during our trip, Kelly and I drove by this awesome looking old-school burger joint called Mac's Drive-In and we had to come back with everyone. They had the best local root beer in ice cold, dripping mugs, homemade custard, and all kinds of greasy food to top it off. It was bodacious. The six of us ate as much as possible and the bill came to $26! INSANITY!!! Anyway, here's B enjoying some yummy custard for the first time.
Last, but DEFINITELY not least, we visited a vineyard that had a beautiful pond with plenty of tranquil-looking swans and fishes. Little did we know that the Prince of Hades resided in one of the swans that day. I wanted to put death metal to this next clip with some scary font saying "WHEN SWANS ATTACK!" but you would've never seen this video of I waited to actually get fancy with it. So here it is...in it's raw form. Brooklyn will have her vengeance one day. Oh, yes. Oh, yes.
