4 months and livin' large

Greetings, blog-o-buddies! We would just like to inform you that the chubby cherub is now officially four months old (adjustimified) as of yesterday and boy oh boy do we have lots to share. First of all, the wee B is now over 13 pounds and growing like a sizeable pumpkin (B likes to be season-appropriate). As was posted earlier, le nugget has also been eating solids like a fat kid sneaking chocolate cake underneath the back porch. Her favorites include (but are not limited to): banana, sweet potato, and any vegetable mixed with banana. Did I mention banana? She likes them.

NEXT! Brooklyn has discovered her hands recently and is grabbing things left and right...sometimes left-right combos even. Her favorite hand discovery time includes pondering the intricacies of the blue Play-Skool owl hanging from her bouncy seat. She is also obsessed with the toucan dangling from her jungle-themed play mat (thanks, Colleen!).

Last but not least, Brooklyn is starting to pick her head up and do some push-ups! One of B's big preemie hurdles has involved her lack of up-to-snuff motor skillz. Well, The Chubby One has given me a message to deliver to Early Intervention and the doctors: "How you like me now!?!?" At least that's what I assume "Mwhaabbbttt..." means. Before I took the following documentary footage, B was rolling up a storm. OF COURSE she decide to stop when the camera was rolling, but momma fixed that. DSS? We suggest you not watch the last 10 seconds of this video. Ta ta.

Please Don't Stop the Brooklyn!

Have you ever seen that one episode of Friends where Ross gets his baby to smile by singing "Baby Got Back"? Well, it seems we have found our rump-shaking equivalent with Brooklyn. For some reason, the girl gets a terminal case of the dance fever whenever she hears Rihanna's "Please Don't Stop the Music." Rihanna, we found a dancer for your next big live show.
